The Canine Con Artist

A man walks into a pet store and sees a sign that reads, "Talking Dog for Sale."

Curious, he walks over and asks the owner, “Is this for real? Does the dog really talk?”

The owner nods, “Yep, that dog can talk. Want to meet him?”

The man agrees and the owner leads him to a small cage where a dog is lounging.

The man asks the dog, “So, can you talk?”

The dog looks up and says, “Yep, I can talk. In fact, I’ve had a pretty wild life. I was a police dog for a while, then I worked as a

therapy dog, and now I just like to chill and tell people my story.”

The man, shocked, turns to the owner and says, “This is amazing! How much for the dog?”

The owner replies, “Ten dollars.”

The man says, “What?! Ten dollars? Why so cheap?”

The owner shrugs, “Because he’s a liar. He’s never done any of that stuff.”
